The Greater Atlanta Naturist Group, or GANG, was active by at least 1988. They held regular camping trips, swimming outings, and parties, making nude recreation a basis for gay community life. GANG belonged to the wider network of gay naturist clubs that developed across the U.S. during the 1980s and expanded during the following decade. Their newsletter's volume numbers correspond to the year of publication; the issues included here are vol. 95.6, 11-12; 96.1-3, 5, and 7.
