Issues present are vol. 2 no. 1; vol. 3 no. 13; vol. 4 nos. 3-15, three supplements on Martial Law, the Bakke Decision, and the Narcisco Perez decision, 17, 20; vol. 5 nos. 2-4, 7-9, 11, 12, [14], 15, 16, 18, 22; vol. 6 nos. 3-8, 10-14, 17, 2-, 21; vol. 7 nos. 2-5, then 14, 15, and 18 with incorrect volume number; another "vol. 7 no. 2" (actually vol. 8 no. 2 by the date), vol. 8 nos. 4-21. In 1982 numbering becomes chaotic; we have vol. 9 nos. 1 and 2, then vol. 8 no. 3, then, with a change in the subtitle from newspaper to newsmagazine, vol. 8 nos. 5, 7-12. In 1983, numbering becomes stable again. Vol. 9 nos. 1-6/7, 9, 11, 12; vol. 10 nos. 1-12, vol. 11 nos. 1/2, 3, 5-12; vol. 12 nos. 1-7, 9-13, and vol. 13 nos. 1-6.

The most important radical leftist newspaper of the Filipino community in the US, with extensive coverage of domestic activism such as the fight for the International Hotel and legal cases related to Filipino nurses and other workers, as well as coverage of efforts to fight to Marcos regime, its eventual fall, Maoist guerrillas in the Philippines, and early Aquino-era politics. Much coverage also of international revolutionary movements.
