IWW Relief Fund for the Kentucky Miners [handbill]

Berkeley: Industrial Workers of the World, [1963?]. 8.5x11 inch handbill with two half-sheet handbills printed onto one, minor curl on one corner, else in very good condition. Handbill design by SciFi fanzine artist Dave Rike with his customary initials printed along the lower margin.

"The Public Welfare Commission does not meet again until February 28 and we are therefore unable to obtain permission to solicit or collect funds to aid the miners. We have wired the miners and informed them of this and have asked them to please refrain from starving until after we appear before the Commission and receive our permit."
