New York: League for Peace with Justice in Palestine. 1946. 16.5x22.5 inch broadside reprinting a full-page ad that appeared in the NY Herald Tribune on August 27, 1946, quoting numerous critics of Zionism. Neatly fold-creased, otherwise very good. Some minor toning to the blank verso, which also has the penciled note "Anti-Zionist."

The "Representative of cooperating persons of the Jewish Faith" listed at the bottom is Benjamin H. Freedman, a former Jew who converted to Catholicism and funded various anti-Semitic and Holocaust denial efforts, this one in the guise of defending Palestinian rights. The "Representative of cooperating persons of the Christian Faith" is listed as R.M. Schoendorf, who was actually Freedman's wife. In this same year, Freedman sued the American Jewish Committee for libel but the case was quickly thrown out. The quotes listed range from serious critiques of Zionist actions (including by Gandhi), to claims that Jews are not true Semites but Asiatic.
