Poetry composed during 1968-1970 at San Francisco State University, during the longest college teachers' strike in U.S. history. As Bentley describes: "a documentary account, week by week, of the vapors and humors of scandal transpired .... in my English seminars in the literature and practice of militant non-violence during the spring and fall semesters of 1970."
