2063 A.D. This archive records the predictions sealed in a time capsule during ceremonies commemorating the fifth anniversary of the dedication of the General Dynamics/Astronautics facility at 5001 Kearny Villa Road, San Diego, California. The Capsule is to be opened on July 13, 2063

San Diego: General Dynamics Corporation. Astronautics Division, 1963. 47 page hardcover, very good, in a slipcase with minor shelfwear. Brass plate mounted on the slipcase is engraved: "Prophecies by distinguished Americans of man's employment of space in 2063 A.D...." The commemorative album was printed in a limited edition of 201 copies, of which this is number 54, presented to Pat Higgins.

Many of the included predictions by noted scientists, astronauts, and others have already come to pass; others, such as human settlements around the solar system, remain distant.
