Text of a joint press release by the American Jewish Committee and the Jewish Labor Committee denouncing anti-Jewish remarks made by Charles Lindbergh at a speech in Des Moines, IA, on September 11, 1941. In his speech, titled “Who Are the War Agitators?”, Lindbergh claimed that Jewish people were conspiring with the British and Roosevelt to push the country into a war. Lindbergh’s remarks were also condemned by antiwar organizations.
