Ad for an artists' book serial that never was. The brochure announces a new publication to help inform subscribers about new publications by artists. "There is no doubt that the repercussions from three societal explosions--population, technology, and leisure time--have come to augment one another, even uniting into one vast wave of creative freedom, information, art, and any combination thereof... many participants in this network now consider their art their participation--and their participation their art. Collation, a periodical newsletter covering artists' publications, has been born of this network." A printed letter inserted into the brochure, dated November 1979, apologizes that the promised newsletter has not materialized and projects a first issue would appear in 1980. We could find no record that the publication was ever realized.
