The 3 Against HUAC were Dagmar Wilson, Donna Allen, and Russ Nixon. They had been cited for contempt of Congress after refusing to testify in front of HUAC in a secret session and requesting that the public and the press be admitted. Their conviction was overturned in 1966. Sponsors of the Defenders of 3 Against HUAC included Bertrand Russell, Rockwell Kent, and Ring Lardner, Jr.
