Pamphlet. 16p., illustrated with a "Closed Area" line map dated as drawn in 1946, map shows a big portion of the Columbia River plus the city of Hanford and other townships. Text is largely federal warnings to fools (not to travel here for "recreational purposes") and snoops (especially immigrants who are not citizens), warnings based on detailed prohibitions and prison-time. Item is a pleasant-looking stapled pamphlet with a second illustration, a cover woodblock vignette of a riverbank fortress; 7x5 inches. Staples are rusted without migration, nice and flat with just hints of age and handling, a very good copy: perfectly sound, clean and unmarked.
