Nepal in Crisis; Growth and Stagnation at the Periphery

Delhi: Oxford University Press, 1983. Hardcover. xvi, 311p., illustrated with two line-maps and several tables, third impression of the 1980 first issue. Hardbound in blue cloth boards spine-titled gilt and enclosed in the dust jacket. A presentable copy with, unfortunately, an area of light damp-damage to front cover (dj unscathed), a neat ownership in ink to ffep along with a line of tiny numerals (most likely a former bookdealer's), and severe edgewear to parts of the jacket. All in all, a good-only exemplar, but much better than "reading copy"

Authors are a team from differing disciplines, an economist, a sociologist, a geographer, coordinated by the British Ministry of Overseas Development. The 'crisis' addressed is largely one of trade relations.
