Sydney, NSW, Australia: Sammy Lee, [1960s]. Very good tri-fold six panel menu, 6x9.5 inches, interior panels displays the menu with $2.00 T-bones and $9 French Champagne, the exterior displays a wraparound b&w photo of Les Girls and two smaller photos, one of customers at the tables.

The club began life as the Jewel Box Revue Club created by Lee Gordon and was likely the first drag club in Australia. The star was Carlotta, a transgender woman (the blond held aloft in cover photo). The performers were a mix of trans women and males in drag. Carlotta did a film and then became the first transgender person to appear on a television show to come out as such in her last episode ("Number 96" 1974).
