[Maskwa, Greg; Dimitrius]

New York: dam, 1981. 5x7 inch humorous greeting card, unused, somewhat crudely printed, but in very good condition.

Credits on the rear panel state that the concept was by Dimitrius and the illustrations by Greg Maskwa. The couple, who were lovers, met tragedy in 1988 when Dimitrius was murdered by a handyman in their New York apartment. The Canadian-born Maskwa, who painted murals for bath houses and even for a Black Panther office, later described having been politicized by the AIDS epidemic. He continued painting for the rest of his life, returning to Canada in his later years. Both he and Dimitrius are noted on the card as "Members of GSA."
