Borrowed Syndrome

A complex softbound in 7.5x6 inch magenta frenchfold wraps, spine- and cover-titled gilt, presswork on clay-coated alkaline paperstock, a mini-artbook divided dos-a-dos in Hebrew and English. Apparently the "Syndrome" is the one wherein newcomers to old Jerusalem get spectacularly disoriented; and South Africa of the Mandela era is invoked as being similarly affected.. or a parellel relationship exists. A lovely exemplar with a glaring fault: textblock and the empurpled covers are close to full separation. To apply a line of glue may be all the "repair" work that is needed, but experience with glue technique is required; this will be up to the purchaser. As is, a splendid little item in need of work, and that will survive without any.
