Originally published by Cape in 1927. The Florin Books series was a cheaper, uniform edition featuring popular novels and belle-lettres. Nichols was a lover of Siegfried Sassoon and longtime companion of actor and director Cyril Butcher. He completed and published over 60 books and plays.
