"The blood of every worker should boil at the slimy attacks upon the unemployed appearing in the Ithaca Journal, Tue. April 9th, by R.C. (Penny-Grabber) Osborn, Chairman of the Board of Public Welfare of Ithaca. This penny-grabber who is well remembered by hundreds of former newsboys, can ill-afford to call the underfed unemployed a bunch of chiselers!" Urges the reader to attend a May Day demonstration.
