London: Faber and Faber Limited, 1951. Hardcover. 302p., first edition, hardbound in openweave blue cloth boards gilt and enclosed in the dust jacket. A pleasant copy, with a couple of caveats for collectorship: spine panel is a bit dimmed with handling (lettering remains legible), find a penetrating fleck to half-title & verso, dust jacket is mildly dust-soiled with toning to spine (again, legible), edgewear with general minute tears and a ragged top rim, slight mis-folding to front flap. A good copy: unmarked, and otherwise clean.
