"In this bulletin, we shall try to tell alert intelligent Americans what they can do for democracy.... We shall describe specific ideas that can be worked out in your own community, suggestions, projects, stunts, study programs." Includes some discussion of civil rights, such as a response by Atlanta's Civic-Political League (a Black organization) to the racist governor of Georgia, discussing how the US must live up to democratic principles to effectively fight Hitlerism.
