Menu for Ed Mirvish's restaurant, established in 1963 to provide a dining option for patrons of the Royal Alexandra Theatre, which he had purchased the year before. It was the first of several "Ed's" restaurants that he opened. The restaurant was infamous for its industrial setting (the location was a redeveloped warehouse next to train tracks), garish decor, long-standing jacket-and-tie dress code (enforced, it was said, to keep out unhoused people), and simple menu (primarily steak, potatoes, and bread). An extensive drinks menu has Canadian whiskies, Canadian beer, and domestic champagnes. Ed’s Warehouse closed in 1999.
