The imprint on the front cover has been pasted over: “Editorial Voluntad, S.A. Serrano, 48. Apartado 579, Madrid.” Cover title within an color printed ornamental border, with Mesoamerican motifs, the flags of Latin American nations, and the Spanish coat of arms. Front cover foxed and some preliminary leaves soiled, otherwise Good.

The second edition of a commercial catalog issued by the Leipzig bookselling firm K.F. Koehler listing the latest in early 20th century education technology, much of it localized for the Spanish-speaking market. Twenty-three profusely illustrated sections and an appendix. Materials include: Froebel toys (an entire section is devoted to kindergarten), prints illustrating "race science," writing instruments, desks, lab equipment, maps, gym equipment, and all other manner of material meant for classroom, student, and/or teacher use. There are plenty of illustrations of scientific racism in the geography and world civilizations section. The introduction states the superiority and spread of German educational methods and instruments, and their traction in the Spanish-speaking world, including in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where Koehler has supplied a school’s entire museum. Preliminary leaves include an illustration of the exterior of the K.F. Koehler building in Leipzig, and a photographic illustration of the shipping floor.
