Willard Manus, a contributor authored the novel "Mott, The Hoople" from which the band took its name. He also wrote plays in the 1980s including "Junk Food" which premiered at LAAT in 1981. A fairly extensive collection of 1950s era poets, includes article by Waldo Frank, Howard Nemerov, Maxwell Geismar and the poem Squeal by Allen Ginsberg.
