Stallard's "New Bill of Rights." Will Jewry be Exterminated?
Portland, OR: H.H. Stallard, 1942. Pamphlet. 8p. pamphlet, corner creased; issued as Vol. 2 no. 1 of Stallard's Crusader, but the text to this effect has been blotted out with blue ink on the cover (soaking through to the next page as well).
The former Socialist Party activist and candidate from Oklahoma here discusses his goal of "Socialized Production-for-Use, Without Profit, a Cooperative Commonwealth." In a section on Jews, he asks "Why is the Jewish question being forced to the front in all lands? The reason is, that our industrial system has run its course. It has so unequally distributed the wealth that a few control the peoples destiny. And the Jews have set themselves out as a distinct race from the Gentiles. This gives the politician (owing to the solidarity of the Jew vote) an opportunity to promise and in many cases do, give the Jew leaders special favors. And the Jewish business men are strong competitors with the Gentile business men at the profit game, and this condition causes the Gentile business man to apply the law of self preservation and in order to do this, he must put the Jew business men out. Now, the politicians will turn against the Jew minority just as soon as they see how the majority is going. If the common Jews don't wake up and call their leaders down, they stand to go the road that H. G. Wells predicted; 'probable extermination of the Jewish race.' ... My six point program will forever do away with all racial antagonisms. Will the Jew help organize this social order? To those who feel that to exterminate the Jew will benefit society as a whole, I will say, that if you would destroy every Jew, you would still have the one-third ill-clothed; ill-fed and ill-housed. You would only benefit the Gentile business man who would skin you just as quick and as deep as the Jew business man. You would only change skinners. It's the profit system that must be displaced or the race is doomed."
