Pamphlet. 16p., presswork on glazed alkaline paperstock throughout, with matte cover illustration in art deco style and monochrome plat map decorating back cover. Text in French with Italian and English when useful. A celebration of the military, ducal and Catholic architecture to be found on a fastness used in prehistoric times, and during the Renaissance decorated with murals by the likes of Pier della Francesca, Uccello, Raphael. Item a little dusty and crimped but still bright, a very good copy.
