United National Clothing Collection for War Relief

New York: UNCC, 1945. Pamphlet. Four leaflets in various formats, one folded, another toned, otherwise very good, together with a cover letter to a volunteer in the campaign. The leaflets note participation of Jewish organizations, Protestant churches, and the War Production Board, with one announcing "Clean out your closets week."

The clothing drive collected some 150 million pounds of clothing for refugees in postwar Europe and Asia, later receiving a commendation from President Truman.
