Proletarian Opposition Bulletin, no. 4 (March 1932)

Chicago: [Proletarian Party Opposition], 1932. [10p.], staplebound, 6x10.5 inches, includes two staplebound mimeographed pages of an exerpted essay by John Keracher; touch of rust to staples, else in very good condition.

This newsletter, written from the perspective of the left wing within the Proletarian Party, who were generally fed up with Keracher’s dogmatic leadership and expulsion practices. It highlights theoretical differences in Marxist thought between the factions which were specifically brought to light by Paul Mattick and resulted in a vote to retract his membership nomination (Roth 107). The Opposition Bulletin also includes an essay titled Expel Keracher and attacks Keracher's decision to ban members of the Proletarian Party from joining the unemployed councils controlled by other organizations.
