New York: National Council on Freedom from Censorship of the American Civil Liberties Union, 1952. Pamphlet. Six panel brochure, 3.75x8.5 inches, small rust stain on rear wrap panel else very good condition.

On two Supreme Court decisions declaring unconstitutional a New York State ban on the film "The Miracle" and a Marshall, TX municipal ordinance banning showings of the film "Pinky." The former was banned for being sacrilegious; the latter for showing an interracial relationship between a white man and a white-passing Black woman (played by a white actress).
