Chicago: F.G. Browne & Co., 1913. Hardcover. 359p., color frontis in good shape, first edition in red cloth boards lettered white and enclosed in the dust jacket. General good condition but spine lettering has almost entirely flaked away, while cover lettering has no damage at all. Book itself is bright and sound, tight and square, quite clean and unmarked. The dj, enclosed in a (non-archival) brodart, is faintly dim, shows handling grime, some edgewear, and a puncture one fourth of an inch across (not affecting any text). Not in Hanna, though author's other books are.
Plot? the novel, a sort of family comedy, opens with a poker game promised to change lives.
