Berlin: Volksverband der Bucherfreunde Wegweiser- Verlag, 1925. Hardcover. 34p., the twelve plates (unpaginated) present and in good shape, every plate signed, text leaves also quite good. The casing, a large folio in 15x11 inch tan papered boards backed in brown calf gilt-titled, is dust- and handling-soiled with abrasions to leather of spine & corner-tips, which are heavily abraded, especially at the head rim with slight tearing of hide. Hinges are excellent, blanks clean and unmarked but the terminal blank has a corner torn off (about 3x5 inches gone). A good (good-only) copy. Human poor people, a plodding family experiencing an elder's death, mingles with attendant angelic spirits.
