no city {Vosges): the spa, or spa collective, no date, circa 1890. 28p., coated alkaline paperstock throughout with presswork in orange and black, profuse b&w photoillustrations, a sewn softbound: cord-fastened pamphlet in 8x4.5 inch grey wraps titled by embossed gilt. Nice copy. Front cover has mild handling signs: a very faint distributor's stamp, light corner-tip creasing and crimping along spinefold, while decorative cord (original) is in perfect shape, blank back cover faintly marked with small stains, titlepage slightly foxed and handled while remainder of contents is untouched, a very good copy.

Thermal springs organized in Roman times and much elaborated by later folk, find intricate water-sites and lots of classical marble buildings amongst a great varietry of bucolic settings.
