no place: Santa Fe Railroad, 1966. Hardcover. 272p., bound with brass screws into 9x6 inch limp cloth covers, cover titling worn to illegibility. Titlepage is soiled with handling but not otherwise damaged, and is rubberstamped as received by the Richmond CA agent's office. A 24-page index begins the text and this section is mildly thumb-soiled, in general the paperstock is alkaline and not toned. Cloth is quite edgeworn with some fraying along the spine panel. Bound in at the back is the 1945 edition of uniform rules re bills of lading, published in DC by the treasury division of the Association of Americn Railroads; this much-referred-to 33p. section is toned, check-marked in ink and underlined. A fair-to-good copy, completely handleable.
Now, if your proposed novel were to expound the life of A Freight Agent, this item would be invaluable.
