Jacket shows a little handling and the spine lettering is a tad faded, but is sound and not price-clipped. Here is Hoppe's first book publication, his take on the political climate of the late 50s and early 60s, the title piece a satire on right-wing absurdities. Includes a satirical piece on rocket rivalry with Russia.

Hoppe one of the San Francisco Chronicle's best-remembered regulars..not to be confused with Herb Caen.
