The end of the trail "a Powder Valley western"

New York: Jefferson House, 1945. 186p., 7.5x5 inch blue cloth boards titled yellow in color pictorial dust jacket, first edition. Generally a very good copy with these particulars: rear free endpaper bears a short series of neat datestamps, so we must suppose this copy belonged at one point to a lending library, but there are no other indications of ex library status on casing, or textblock, or unclipped dust jacket: checked out by fastidious cowpokes. Underneath the front flap find an old block-printed Berkeley address in pencil. Cloth very slightly worn at the heel. DJ is edgeworn with a bit of handling soil to back panel, both flaps were creased vertically (now flat), small losses to head and tail rims, graphic is intact and bright (red shirt, limegreen nekkerchif, two revolvers spouting red and yellow flame; and, by God, a purple holster!).
