Valdez: Gibson's Cafe, . Single sheet 14.5x10 inches printed one-side only, brown ink on yellow paperstock, folded twice else very good condition; history of Valdez up to 1964 with a simple linedrawn map.
Valdez was the second oldest settlement on the mainland of central Alaska. We learn that in 1912 it voted to withdraw from the US and repatriate to Russia. It was also the closest populated place to the 1964 earthquake epicenter; this caused the entire city to be moved 4 miles away over a 4 year period. Enough text to get you to that order of pancakes.
