The Express Times was S.F.'s main political underground paper. First substantial story questions relevance of latest UC Berkeley sit-ins at Sproul and at Moses Hall; another Moses story on p.6. Then, second part of a long interview with William Burroughs, conducted by Jeff Shero. Theatre radicals demand Bill Graham create free admission days. Polytechnic High School black students confront SF Board of Education (4 photos). Paul Williams profiles the Who's frustrating relationship with Decca Records, while Marjorie Heins opines on Joan Baez's pacifism (" bourgeois cop-out"), but she gives her credit for her "courageous, warm and high spirit" and inspiring music.
