Plug into the Movement! Read this rag!" Compendium of full-page ads for fourteen alternative media sources, such as Off Our Backs, Issues in Radical Therapy.....

Six issues of the monthly magazine, 7x10 inches; all issues somewhat toned and dust-soiled, slight edgewear, papers are mildly browning, in good condition. Lot includes October, December (1946); February, April, June (1947); July (1948).
Detroit: Gale Research, 1991. Paperback. 28p., 8.5x5.5 inches oblong, illustrated with photos of book covers, catalog of titles available from Gale in the areas of African American and Hispanic American studies, address label on rear wrap else very good booklet in stapled pictorial wraps.
New York: Astraea, 2004. 8.5x11 inch folder containing two sheet letter and 8p. newsletter, very good. Letter is dated Fall 2004. The newsletter is the Spring 2004 Bulletin announcing the organization's new website and other info.The folder contains lists of panel grants and programs.

Yuste, impresor, for Compania Trasmediterranea, 1930. p., coated paperstock throughout, tinted pale yellow with turquoise spot color and sepia photoreproductions, softbound in 6.5x4.5 inch decorated stapled wraps. Monochrome map. Externally a bit worn, internally staples have rust without migration, a good-only copy.
Paris: Siege Social, 1913. Pamphlet. Unpaginated, about 22p., staplebound pamphlet in 7.5x5.5 inch decorated wraps. Covers are mildly edgeworn and bear a couple of faint stains, text is on very nice alkaline paperstock with presswork in black with scarlet spot-color and tan tintblock framing/backgrounds. Paperback. 176p., illustrated with numerous vignette-sized photos reproduced indifferently in b&w, two folded maps with onlay color helps, and a huge body of tables giving details of accommodations. Glossy alkaline paperstock throughout, softbound in 8.5x5.5 inch glossy color-decorated wraps. One signature was slightly mistrimmed at.....
Marysville: the county supervisors, 1915. Pamphlet. Original specimen: 64p., printed on alkaline coated paperstock throughout and illustrated with plenty of b&w site photos and four colorized photos on and within the 9x6 inch stapled wraps, these bordered in gilt. Find also a doublespread surveyor's map from 1914. Spinefold a little.....
[Auckland presumed]: Caltex Quality Petroleum Products, [late 1940s]. Map. Gas station map on a single leaf of unusually heavy paperstock folded umpty times and in near perfect condition. Item, 8.5x3.5 inches, folds out to a verso map in colors, 35x20 inches further labeled "Caltex Road Map New Zealand North Island.....

[36p] includes covers, 6.5x9 inches, color and sepia illustrations/film stills, text in Spanish, cast, crew, production company, history, bios, very good publicity booklet in stapled color pictorial wraps with some wear to spine-fold front and back. Handsome production. In 1951 the Francoist film company CIFESA.....
Barcelona: the Colegio, 1924. 83p., oblong booklet, softbound in 6.5x8.5 inch buff wraps decorated with a drypoint cartouche and illustrated with many sepia vignettes from photogravures; further decorated with chapter dividers in apricot and dark brown, text-frames in blue and orange. A production meant to please, deriving from a 1923.....
Tyler TX: Public Relations Department, October 1957. Pamphlet. 26p., printed on glossy alkaline paperstock and illustrated with a line map of routes and a fold-out chart showing interconnections of the numerous small subsidiary lines, and some non-rail holdings. Softbound, 7.5x5.5 inch stapled pamphlet, cover has a little light smudging probably.....
Tucson: Harbinger House, 1990. Single 8.5x11 inch handbill printed both sides on glossy stock, cover photo [by David Burckhalter] foreword by Charles Bowden on rear, two horizontal fold creases for mailing, small stain and wear in margins otherwise good. Pre-publication handbill for the book.
[Miami, FL]: Miami Records, [1961-?]. 3.25x5.5 inch card, b&w photo portrait of Sanchez on one side, Spoanish language list of his recordings on the other, very good. Promotional item for the Mexican singer. Undated, but the sheet music for the last recording on the list, "Que rechulo es querer," was.....
Brooklyn: David James Press, 1988. 24 panel fold-out map brochure folded to 4x8.75 inches, with ads, listing relevant bars, discos, restaurants, shops, services, and other attractions. The maps are pretty basic; the main focus is the ads. Includes a Russian River section. Very good condition.
