London: Routledge & Kegan Paul, 1974. xi, 436p., line maps as called for, first edition black cloth boards gilt in glossy orange dj. Jacket was once tacked to endsheet pastedowns with spots of glue, now detached with slight damage to endsheets, jacket also slightly edgeworn, a good sound clean copy.
