New York: HarperCollins, 2009. Hardcover. 507p., signed by the author, very good first edition in laminated decorative boards and unclipped dj. The protagonist is born in the US but is raised in several households in Mexico where he meets with Diego Rivera, Frida Kahlo and works for Trotsky.
Berkeley: Regent Press, 2016. 94p., softbound in 8.5x5.5 inch glossy black wraps. Clean unblemished copy. A play in skilled verse (Shakespeare-inspired iambic pentameter), of dubious readability, plus a short end-section of love poems, these an odd combination of abstruse scientific factoids and postmodern surprise turns. Boggling. The influence of both.....
