Rosemead, CA: HLU, [199-?]. Six-panel glossy illustrated brochure for the Buddhist university affiliated with Fo Guang Shan monastery; folded, it is an upright measuring 10x4 inches. Very good. The university later changed its name to University of the West and received standard accreditation.
San Francisco: the Association, 1963. Four panel card, taped shut for mailing (tape residue leaving browned strip at edge), address and postmark on front panel; text in Chinese and English, lengthier text in Chinese only on back panel (somewhat yellowed). The event was helf at 146 Waverly Place in Chinatown.....

Catalogue for a sale of Buddhist art from China, India, Southeast Asia, Japan, Tibet, Nepal, Mongolia, and Buriatia held at the Spink Singapore in 1997.

Includes letters from 75-year-old Sitara Sparks describing her travel to Japan to walk with local anti-nuclear activists and Buddhist monks, as well as correspondence from others undertaking similar pilgrimages.....

Lists prisoners, many of them Buddhist draft resisters, and suggests writing to US congressmen calling on them to pressure the South Vietnamese government for their release.

n.p. 12.5x6.25 inch woodblock, text carved by hand into wood, appealing dark toning from ink. Each side printed a double leaf, which would be folded vertically down the center and the edges at either end bound together into the book. No title or publisher's information is visible on the block.....
