The author has schmoozed with and learned from many other curators, and writes with more than a touch of humor.

San Francisco: State of California Dept. of Natural Resources Division of Mines, 1953. 144p., 6x9 inches, map, illustrated with numerous period figures and facsimiles; the heavily coated paperstock is not fully alkaline and is slightly toned throughout. Good in original wraps with binder's tape spine, as issued.
London: printed for the Limited Editions Club at the Curwen Press, 1967. Hardcover. 184p., 9x12.25 inches, illustrated with tinted plates from drawings, slightly musty otherwise very good limited edition of 1500 copies numbered and signed by the artist, in brown boards and cloth spine, gilt titles on paper spine label.....
Amherst: Prometheus Books, 1995. Paperback. 278p., softbound in 9x6 inch glossy wraps; front cover has a tiny sticker remnant, back cover one small corner crease, foredge is rather foxed, quite free of any markings within (but has a couple small dog ears to terminal leaves). A good sound copy.
