Norman: University of Oklahoma Press, 1943. Hardcover. 188p., second printing, mildly shelfworn with a little top edge dust-soil, in a soiled worn dj. Pipes, a white store clerk in the Louisiana swamplands, wrote down what he considered the poetic expression of the black workers and fieldhands in the area.

Pollock Pines CA: the press, 2008, 2009. 114, 56, 75p., each illustrated with numerous nicely-done color xerox poet-traits, interior pix and (in Keepers) documents in facsimile. Similarly formatted: spiral-fastened copyshop wraps under well laid-out cover sheets, immaculate copies of attractive productions, the 3 as a small lot.

Hardcover. 519p., paperstock is somewhat acidic and toned and not yet fragile, texts are illustrated with a number of vignette woodblocks; reprint of an 1885 first issue, hardbound cased into 9x6 inch grey cloth boards decorated in black and titled gilt. A very good copy;.....

New York: author, 1918. 16p., several sketch diagrams, staplebound 8x5 inch wraps with intricate cover illustration. Staples show a touch of rust, a very good copy. Among the endorsements find one from David Belasco, although read strictly it is not enthusiastic. Last leaf bears ad for "a jazz musical instrument.....
