Kanagawa-ken: Fujiya Hotel, 1947. 200p., numerous illustrations; very good softcover bound with thread in traditional style, in a stiff paper jacket decorated with Japanese coin motifs. A post-war edition. Volume two only. Introductory book on Japanese culture for visiting foreigners.
Washington DC: Center for Islamic Pluralism, 2011. Hardcover. 122p., 6.75x8.75 inches, pictorial boards, illus., as New. An Albanian-American journalist travels with a group of moderate Muslims to Israel and recounts who they met and what they saw. Interesting book with an inter-faith intent.
Boston: Houghton Mifflin Company, 1937. 306p., later printing black cloth boards titled silver and red, in dj featuring a wraparound image from a wood engraving. Casing mildly worn, jacket is very worn. Author's first book won a Houghton fellowship prize, possibly accounting for the elaborate jacket.

Fifty b&w photos of San Francisco in the 1940s (actually 51 as two copies of The Ferry Building Clock Tower were bound in), printed rectos only on coated alkaline paperstock. Smallish vest-pocket item, 7x4.25 inches oblong softbound in wraps with trianglular die-cut revealing.....
