New York: Funk & Wagnalls, 1890. x, 335p., preface, later printing of 1888 original; blue cloth boards gilt. Head is lightly bumped, endpapers brittle, front hinge starting, a not-quite "good" copy that on its front free endpaper bears a personal inscription -signed- by the subject's daughter to her uncle.
