Hardcover. xiv, 326p., plentifully supplied with modern line maps (twenty-two) and three illustrations, hardbound in Hakluyt fashion: blue cloth boards gilt & blind and enclosed in the dust jacket. Were it not for top-edge foxing (and faint dust) we'd describe our item as fine; everything.....

Hardcover. 164p., xliii [Society matters], hardbound in normal Hakluyt style: bright medium-blue cloth boards gilt, with the two announced maps, which are large fold-outs and quite stunning. The first map bears a quarter-inch tear at a fold-line, both otherwise unmolested. Great copy, brilliant.....
