Paperback. xviii, 306p., illustrated with b&w photos, some line maps and tables; softbound in 9x6 inch decorated wraps, mild signs of age and handling: paperstock is slightly toned, covers show a slight curl, a nice copy, quite sound, clean and unmarked.

Speeches delivered in the US and England by the Soviet economist discussing Gorbachev's reforms, the collapse of the USSR and alleged western designs on Russia.
Buenos Aires: Carbometal, S.A. Ind. y Com. n.d., mid 1950s. A half-inch pile of folded mappings of the province of Mendoza, most of these fold out to 20x56 inches, folded measuring 14x8.5 inches. Dividers amongst them, and a ribbon-copy TLs on Carbometal letterhead addressed to an English-speaking investor, one Joseph.....
New Delhi: Sage Publications, 1995. Hardcover. 338p., illustrated with tables and statistics; hardbound in black cloth boards bronze-titled, in dust jacket. Aside from a small area of translucent sticker-residue to dj spine panel, book and dj are unmolested by age or handling. A very good copy.
Sacramento: the journal, 1909-10. Magazine. Several different paginations, semi-coated paperstock featuring numerous captioned b&w illustrations from photography, about 120p. A softbound magazine in 12x9 inch brown wraps, spine panel is chipped, split along both joints and ready to detach. External edgewear, internal foxing to endsheets, an else clean sound textblock.....
Miami Beach: The Wolfsonian-Florida International University, 2005. 315p., high-gloss paperstock throughout with period images in color and b&w throughout, 10x7 inch decorated wraps. Extremities worn, occasional touches of soil within, a good (good-only) copy. Enthusiastic popular-culture, odd-architecture reverences; NYC and Florida are special emphases. One paper discusses AfricanAmerican hostelries.
Stanford, CA: Stanford University Press, October, 1945. vi, 44p., 10.75x14.25 inches, decorated title page of green Monterey Cypress (with light-offset reflection from ink transfer, looks rather like the shadow of the tree!) foreword, marginal annotation, three tipped-in photo portraits of the subjects, very good first edition hardcover limited to 105.....

Mildest sunning and dust-soil, with knowledgeable holograph annotations: flyleaf (names) and text (comments) bear pencilled addenda by people close to the scene; for instance.....

[Atherton]: Self-published by the author, 1979. Pamphlet. 56p., 5.5x8.5 inches, photos, plans, bibliography, officials, old maps, ads, very good booklet in tan stapled wraps. Spinefold shows a little crimping, a thoroughly sound, clean, unmarked copy of a well-designed little item. Both authors long resident in this pleasant enclave.
