Some reminiscences of Carolyn R. R. Putnam
Cornwall: Privately Printed, 1941. Hardcover. 47p., frontis, foreword, illustrated with photographic plates, very good limited edition of 75 copies in publishers blue cloth and gilt. Memorial edition.
The house pictured throughout the book often hosted women's anti-suffrage meetings led by Carolyn Putnam herself. None of this passion is reflected in her superfluous memoirs, and she served mostly as a patron to the movement without publicly exhibiting her opinions (Goodier, No Votes for Women: The New York State Anti-Suffrage Movement 23).
