N.pl. American Relief Administration, 1923. 91p., text reproduced rectos only from typed mss and illustrated with numerous line maps showing situations. Standard 11x8.5 inch text paper is mildly acidic, stapled under a front cover sheet that bears printed banner with typed particulars. Spine panel covered in old thick kraft paper and (because it lies under the massive staples that fasten) may have been how it was issued. Cover leaves and kraftpaper spine are badly worn with light stains and creasing. Complete and handleable, a reading copy.

Herbert Hoover headed the ARA and its predecessor. The Russian outreach was discontinued in 1923 when it was discovered that the Soviets had resumed the exportation of grain.
