The Club, which was largely composed of Communist Party members, devoted issues to such themes as the dangers of atomic warfare, coups against leftist governments around the world, American censorship of leftist literature, undemocratic rule in Nepal, funding for military research, etc. Isobel Cerney was one of the activists involved.
