Inscribed on title page: “For Judith, and also thank you for the Booklook, Witt, 1985.” Also included is an early photocopy of a deposition attesting to Witt and Tsuya Takebayashi throwing a bamboo baton overboard from a ferry crossing the U.S-Canada border.

Catalog of works by Witt, including The Object In Itself Does Speak, which is a phone submerged in a tub of water, composed in response to U.S. Senator Bob Wilson’s bill to abolish the California Arts Council. Accompanies the exhibition at Tempo Gallery, May 9 - June 21, 1981.
