Life on the Corner. The Moon Eyed Beggar's Tale. A novella by Robin Sharpe.
Vancouver: Kalayaan Publications, 1996. Pamphlet. 41p., softbound in 8.5x7 inch wraps, photocopied zine format, saddle-stitched. Author Sharpe says of himself that he "has been a pupil of the Philippines since 1983". The book in hand is the gay Canadian poet on another experience in the Philippines, here the story of a damaged child, with inserted psychological narratives. A very good copy, quite sound and entirely clean and unmarked.
The "moon eye" is scar tissue.
