The Affirmation of Paul Comtois.
Barrie, Ontario: Angelus Books, 1988. Pamphlet. 15, [1] pages, illustrations. Some minor foxing, otherwise very good.
This pamphlet presents Comtois, a Canadian conservative politician who became governor of Quebec in 1961, as a martyr for perishing in order to save the Blessed Sacrament from a fire that destroyed his official residence on February 21, 1966. The author writes that minimal news coverage was the result of a conspiracy by “the modernist dictatorship, the Left-wing Catholics, who control vast segments of our news media.” First published in Approaches, issue no. 95, 1986, Saltcoats, Scotland.
